Our ride to Oz seems to keep throwing up obstacles.... first China then Italy (riding down and across to Greece)...now having got Azerbaijan visa and Tajikistan plus GBAO we are told no transit visas are being issued for Turkmenistan and to be reviewed in April......doh

Turkmenistan is a lotto anyway to get visas.
You should always have a plan B for Turkmenistan.....

Can't you try the Caspian Sea ferry from Az to Kz ?
Unless they've stopped operating too due to the Corona hysteria that is...

From today's Guardian newspaper:
