TIP - temporarly import document for Russian Union - HELP

Hi guys!

This spring I have entered Russian Customs union on the main border crossing between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Somehow on the way I have lost the temporarly import document of the car.

Now the car is in Russia and Russian authorities at the border with Mongolia didnt allow this car to exit the country without the document.

Is there anyone here that have experiences on this?

Anyone know how to get a copy of the document and how to extend the permission? If permission is only for 3 months It will be due in a couple of days. What are the costs?

Any information, contacts, whatever is most welcomed.

Thanks,

I was at this border 2015 together with a german biker who lost his TIP.

The border guards solved it and it was no problem, took half an hour.

But I have the feeling that the border guards at this border got a little bit corrupt, I was there in 2017 and 2018 and it changed.
Maybe they want money.
Tell them you have someone to cal the headquarter in Moscow that they don't want to help at the border and he will ask for help in Moscow.
And look what happens.

They cant let you stay in Russia for this reason.

And by the way, my advice:
Always make a picture of the TIP !! ( and other papers you get )
This way you always have a copy !!

Tip = t6

Hi,

The TIP or the T6 as we cal it here in Kyrgyzstan is mandatory for the entire RU Custom union. If you lost your paper the official way is this:

1. find the custom office of the border town
2. claim that you've lost your TIP
3. they will prove your car datas in the IT system, and it depends if you are expired or not... on the official pricing or penalty.
4. the chief of custom is obligated to provide you a new one.

(And yes, as Klaus said, make alsways of copy or picture. If you can prove you've got it its much less head ache.)

Good luck,
Dave

Thank you guys!

With some help from Kazakhstan I got the copy without stamp. And it turns out the document expires the day after tomorrow.

Now I am getting someone to extend the TIP for $$$
