Tajikistan in May
 

I'm researching a trip to the Stan's in 2015 and would like some feedback concerning off road travel through Tajikistan in May to mid June. Is May to early; i.e. river levels, mud, snowy passes, etc? I'm looking at some of the more challenging rides - Bartang, etc.

For Bartang that would depend if they have a late winter and spring which would then mean higher water levers around that time, check the weather in a few months and you will know for sure

The worse that can happen is the water level is to high and you have to turn back from bartang route and head back on the pamir highway

Pamir highway and then following the tajik wakhan corridor no problems as its not effected by water levels, worse case might be some snow just after the border crossing from Kyrgyzstan to Tajik pamir at the 4600m marker but should be ok
