Somewhere to stay in Moscow that's bike friendly?

Hi everyone,

Having ridden our F650GSs through the Pamir and Mongolia, we have a couple of issues to sort out with them once we arrive to Moscow, as the poor things have suffered! One needs a new fuel pump, and the other needs the fuel tank removing after someone dropped a section of tubing in there, whilst trying to suck the fuel out at the freight company in Irkutsk. We also need some welding doing to one of the side stands, and we'd like to give the poor things a bit of a clean and some TLC!

These are all jobs we can do ourselves, but it would be handy if anyone knows of good places to stay that are bike friendly, with a workshop or area that we can work on the bikes, or a particularly good place to source parts (if not then we know where the BMW Motorrads are and we can go there).

Any of the above recommendations would be gratefully received! Thank you!

This would be helpful for us too. Anyone know of a good wheel builder in Russia, my f800GSA needs a new rim, Mongolia destroyed it! :oops2:

There're a few good tracks around the Moscow. I was there last year, though I focused on the language mainly and hence haven't visited many places. But I can recommend a pretty good language school there Learn russian. Check it.
