Sending parts to russia
Hi
The kazachstan roads or lack of same, have killed my rear suspension, xt600 3aj. I have a new one to be send from germany. I need it in Barnaul the 1 july if possible, before intering mongolia. Im now Kyzylorda in kazachstan. I was thinking of using DHL, im not travelling on a stright budget. Any experiance with sending parts to russia? |

Try to send it wrapped simply ... maybe even get the sender to cover it with a bit of old grease or oil, so it looks not new. Get them to include an invoice with a low price on it if you want to minimise import duty. |
I am leaving from Vienna to Mongolia in a week, i will enter the Border around the 10-15th of July. ( maybe also a bit earlier )
If you have no other option, you just need to send it to vienna and i can bring it with me.... Thats what i can offer. |
Thank you for your offer....:thumbup1:
I have send it with DHL to barnaul. I have to see how it works out. I will be there in 8-10 days. |
Generally it can take 14-30 days to get parts through customs, although sometimes it can be quicker. Pls let us know how quickly you get the part for future reference.
