Russian Visa from USA

On the web I found several russian visa companies in the U.S. We need the multientry business, 3 or 6 month.

Which one of the following companies would you recommend?
http://www.russia-visa.com/
http://www.visatorussia.com/
www.gotorussia.com/
http://www.passportsandvisas.com/visas/russia.asp

Any info appreciated!
Stan

There is also

Not really endorsing them, but I liked the information on the website. It covers some siberian & far east cities that the guidbooks don't usually cover:
œ Novosibirsk Guide
œ Barnaul Guide
œ Krasnoyarsk Guide
œ Irkutsk Guide
œ Ulan-Ude Guide

We got our 6 month business invite over the internet from http://www.onlinevisa.ru. We dealt with Korotaeva Ksenya, ksenia@onlinevisa.ru. She was excellent - very efficient and always answered our emails promptly. Armed with the invite, getting a visa from the Russian embassy in Australia was straight forward.

Hi Shustrik
Is it warm enough to ride in Vladivostok yet?!

Your URL was wrong (v --> w)
http://www.starwind-visa.com/
is the correct URL!

Are you still working for Starwind?
You should make it easier to find the e-mail address.
You have to click on the logo on the front page. But it doesn't say that is the link to the e-mail address!!

Thanks guys!

Question for Shustrik:
Which hotel in Vladivostok has safe parking for motorcycles?
If all works out we should be there early July for a few days departing for the TransSiberian Hwy.

Thanks.
Stan

Which one of the U.S. based agencies, if you know, has an office in Vladivostok, if there is one?

At the moment leaning towards using "TDS" (traveldocs.com). Somebody else used them, they have an office in San Fran and they answer their emails.

Thanks for any info!
Stan

OK, so here's the update:

We chose one of the U.S. based agencies. The experience has been mixed so far. They told us not to apply earlier than 45 days prior to entry into Russia, but that seems to be awfuly tight and the invitation can be (and should be) obtained prior to that.

The key is to apply well ahead. They will ask for a date of entry, but if you enter later, no problem. So it may make sense to get a visa with an earlier date of entry than expected, just in case.

Also: the invitation takes 2-3 weeks to get, makes the hole process lenghtier.

We started applying about 5 weeks before expected departure, had to pay extra $$ for expedited invitation already.

Hope this helps someone.
