Quality of the fuel in Centralasia?

Hi,

I’m planning to go by Jeep through most countries in Centralasia. The Jeep should be able to use fuel as low as 87 octane. Does anyone know how the fuel quality is in those countries? And is it unleaded?

Fuel is fine; A92 (88 US equivalent) is prevailing grade but I would highly recommend to bring extra fuel filter and get a fuel sock installed if you can live with it. Old rusted tanks, dust and hand-metering with bucket makes fuel dirty enough to cause pump failure good luck.
