Possible Russian motocamp

I am finalising my plans to marry my Russian partner and we are planning to live in Russia.

We have 2 or 3 properties which we are looking at.

Having travelled across Russia twice, only as far as Mongolia, I am wondering if people would be interested in a camp site on the western side of the urals. It will be north west of Perm.

Nothing is decided just looking into all aspects at the moment. Russian and English will be the spoken languages

I think that it will be much better on the south route, maybe in UFA, it is just my opinion.

I don't think everybody will go over Perm, although some do. I would expect most drive Oefa. (also when people go to Astana)

I would consider Perm as an interesting place, if you look around what is there than it is a good way to go, Perm36 ( Gulag ) Irbit ( Ural factory ) are on this "northern route" and I think that is more interesting than the way in Ufa.

But I have no Idea, how many people will go there.

Maybe small huts and banja would be more interesting than camping, specially you never know about rain....

North-west of Perm is pretty 'out there'; are we talking somewhere in the region of Kudymkar? I drove the Perm - Kirov road in March... I don't think many others would use this route and there's nothing special there (although as always the Russian wilderness is nice), plus these regions of northern Perm and Kirov are pretty economically depressed (dead villages, bad roads etc).

If I wanted to open such a place in Russia I think something around Vladivostok would be my choice, or near Miass in the Urals which is a naturally beautiful and a bottleneck for trans-Eurasian travellers.

Thanks for the thoughts. I will speak with herself and decide.
I did the Kirov to Perm Road recently and definitely would not recommend it lol. Spent more time on the verge than the road.
I was also looking at properties in the Bulgaria area but we have an excellent motocamp there anyway

Sadly my partner lives in one of these villages. Dieing fast and no one cares. There are 3 properties for sale for over 2 years and no interest. It is sad because the cities are soulless

I did the Perm - Kirov road in 2015 and I liked it.

I think I will go there again this year.
