North Caucasus Trip Report
 

Just completed an article on a 2010 journey across the North Caucasus, an stunning and fascinating area which (cautiously) deserves to see far, far more visitors. In particular Dagestan which is highly ethnically diverse and full of great winding mountain roads and rough tracks connecting isolated but very welcoming valleys.
