motorbike rental in Japan

Hi, I am planning a 5 week trip in Japan in mid October and wondering if it would be a good choice to rent a motorbike instead of using trains. Basically, I would like to get away from big cities and explore the country side, so I guess motorbike is the best way to go.

Does any one has any experience with bike rental in Japan? Appreciate any info.

Also, I am looking for information on not-to-be missed routes, highlights, camping spots, etc. Appreciate all the info you can provide.

Finally, if there is anyone out there with similar plans, would be great to do some riding together.
