Top tip that myself and at least one other Overlander has found about the hard way, here in Armenia this summer - if you need to go to hospital for treatment of any injury related to your motor vehicle or indeed bicycle, it’s standard procedure for the police to detain your vehicle until the paperwork confirms no other vehicle or person was involved, no matter how small the injury and whether it was just to yourself. That can take up to 3 weeks.

So if you do have a minor injury and no one else is involved, I’d suggest not mentioning your vehicle at all to the hospital staff.
