Hello

I am struggling to find specific information on where I can get Insurance and Temporary Plates to ride in South Korea. I have found that the building is the third stop from the Airport, but I do not know what the building/department/street for the location the building, does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks in advance

I only know of 2 HU inmates on the forum. Seouljoe and SR1. I would think either could help you out here. Also here is a link from Seouljoe with other info. Hope it helps. Post so I know what's up when I get there next month.

There was a guy who was there 2-3 years ago and went through the process. His name is SeanF on HU. I talked to him several months ago. He said next time he would just ship straight to Vlad to avoid the hassle. He had to go downtown to do paper work. I think most of the hassle was having to wait through the weekend to do it. Then he had another weekend wait when he got to Vlad.

I think you have to get Korean insurance too. It may be expensive with a minimum length. Sorry I don't have his link anymore.

I was there 1 month ago, but i drove with a korean friend bike

Police never stops, never check. Is a free style drive country. I love south korea

But of course if then they dont give U ur bike if u dont have insurance is another story

Enjoy south korea ...Bikers are so friendly not like "japanese cold fish bikers"

Insurance

You can buy as third party liability for USD 30,, for a month at any local agent.
As soon as you get off the ferry ask the agent , , where.
Most cases you will not be asked about insurance by the customs or the police.
