Khorog - Tajikistan
 

I'm currently stuck in Khorog waiting for a replacement fuel pump to be shipped from UK.
Anyone near/here like to meet up - I'm at the Hotel Saidbek, Lenin St 35 although it's not really a hotel and has no sign!!

Of course you will have probably moved on but I am headed tha way very shortly, I am heading from Uzbek to Tadj then onto Krygyg, is this the way you are going or the opposite, anyway may see you on the road.

Thanks for the reply. A german guy and I came the opposite way. He has since left for Uz.
We came Kaz/Kyr/Taj and I am bound for Uz, Turkmen, Azer.

Is that the classic BMW 1200 fuel pump controller problem? the item on the top left shoulder of the fuel tank?

if it is, you might want to order a few more of them as spares while you are at it

I was in Khorog about 2 months ago, coming from Dushanbe and going to Murghab in the Pamirs.
I stayed at the Pamir Lodge, to me the nicest place in town (the sisters give a very hospitable welcome).
I loved that part of Tajikistan.
