Japan: Car ferries
 

Hello

My ferry Oarai-Tomakomai on 9th august 2018 was canceled due to taifu no.xx.
I was rebooked on 14th august 2018, had to wait 5 days.
I have to arrive in Tokyo on the 26th september 2018, would like to take the same ferry back.
I asked at the Oarai check-in how high the risk of another taifu will be and they said high.
Does someone know how the ferry Otaru- Niigata is affected by a taifu.
My 20 words of japanese are not enough to call the ferry and I cant find a email on the webside.
