ferry from Japan to Vlad - June??
 

Hello!

I've been told that the car ferry routes from Japan to Vladivostok only start operations in July. I would like to leave with my bike around mid-June if possible, does any one know a ferry company that operates in June?

Hi,

We were in the Unitied Orient office in Tokyo a few days ago. ferry is sailing once every week (departure on friday, arrival in vlad on sunday). The pricing on their website is correct but there "might" be additional charges in the port (the usual: loading, documentation, customs clearance).

Problem seems to be the availability of space for cars, we are waiting for confirmation if we can ship on the 1st of june. I think bikes will be less ofa problem. Passengers is no problem at all.

Alternatively you can take the series of ferries via Hokaido and sachalin island.
