So....we are about to set off in April riding to Oz.....over the stands and due to hit China around 20th May.......our guide has asked us to move things to the end of the year as he says tourism is on shut down.
Question is do we sit and wait to see what happens or change plan completely and head to Alaska.....?

It is THE question of the moment...as the death toll in China reaches 1000 today.
How long can you wait before making a decision?
The problem might not be China by then but the neighbouring countries who have not got a handle on it yet
I am going along the Transiberian to Vladivostock in July and am just waiting to see how things develop. There is no way Russia only has the 2 cases it claims.

It may be that by then the corona virus is everywhere, in which case there will no point in restricting travel etc.

Just wondering if you made the trip through china? Can i ask what guide you had planned to use? Currently looking at Septemebr 2021 Crossing of China but its proving more than tricky...
