Astrakhan to Uzbek and Kazakhstam end May, beginning June.
 

Hi All,

My missus and I started Sunday 26th April from the West Of Ireland to ride to China and back. Unfortunately, yesterday, on a hard packed sand and gravel road we both found a patch of soft sand. I very nearly came off and the missus did and broke her left Fibula. So we are now arranging to ship her and her bike home.

Frankly, at the moment, I feel like going home as well, but as we are riding for charities offering help to young people feeling suicidal, giving up isn't any form of example to set. Consequently I am carrying on, but rather than ride home again I will ship the bike from Beijing and fly.

The point of this thread is ask if there is anyone going down from Astrakhan to Uzbek and into Kazakhstan around the 20th of this month, May, that wants to team up for 3 weeks or so. I will be meeting up with Globebusters for my China part of the ride on 10th June in Kyrgystan.

Really sorry to hear about your wife's accident. Glad it wasn't worse. I can not make the trip you were talking about but I live in Kyrgyzstan and if you need anything while here i will do what i can to help.
