Itinerary

Not mentioned in previous blog, but you only need to enter the major places you wish to travel to and of course your departure time. I don't think they expect every tiny detail,
Regard's
Paul.

I just put down the five major towns across Russia that I will go through so that covers St Petersburg to Vladivostok.

I also just said that I would be going in by ferry that needed the visa to be able to book, and flying out from Vlad' by Korean Air "Yet to be booked"

Calm down. Have faith. The visa will arrive

Which way are you going West to East or the other way round?

Business Visa

Not sure which way Daze55556 is going! I'm shipping from NZ to Vladivostok, then ride to UK. It may be easier getting a Business visa from Europe.
Regards.

I am going Kazakhstan to Banual (Russia) to Mongolia. Then west to east in Mongolia before coming back into Russia at Ulan-Ude and train from Irkutsk to Moscow.

Thats the plan anyway!

Thanks for the tips, David from Stantours came through again for me.

This visa business is stressful!

The biggest issue with the Russian business visa is that the period during which you can stay in the country, unlike visas for most other countries, starts reducing daily the day you receive it. In other words, if it is issued today - 3 April - you will need to have exited Russia by 2 July, therefore, if time is a constraint, plan to have your visa issued as close as possible to your departure from Oz.

I don't know where you got that one from? My business visa runs from 1/5 'till the 27/10 just as I asked for. And I got that about a month ago now. The only limit is that I can only stay 90 days in Russia within that 180 day period.
