Hi guys,

Just a heads up for anyone who may be looking for cheap accommodation, hot showers and secure parking for their bike in Almaty - there's a hostel called 'Hostel 24' (co-ords: 43.265799, 76.838601). A lovely lady runs it, and will do anything to make sure you've got everything you need.

I've also been able to store my bike for a couple of weeks whilst I visit Japan.
