Abandonned cities and military bases in Kola Peninsula
 

Hi guys!
I am starting to plan my summer trip. Il will ride from Sweden to Murmansk, and then I want to travel for a while in the Kola Peninsula, and especially go in some abandoned cities and military bases.

So far I found these very interesting places:

Most of the (nuclear-)submarine base areas are strictly forbidden to enter for non-military personnel and checked by armed security to my knowledge.

Maybe you find a friend in some high officer to change those terms though. beer

Oh that's very bad news... I speak a bit of russian, so maybe I may find a way to have some sympathy from them, anyway, I will try.... will keep you updated.
