10w60 Sythetic moto oil in Siberia?

I am planning out my tires and oil right now for siberia this summer.

Is there any place to buy 10w60 for my KTM in Mogolia, Altai, or Kazak?
Is it better just to bring my oil change?

Cheers!

All cities in Russia will have it. Many in Kazakhstan will have it.

I passed thru out of the way mining towns in Kazakhstan that had it last year.

LiquiMoly (German) is very common in Russian and Kazakhstan. Motul (French) is also very common ... 2 of the best oils you can get. I also wouldnt get too hung up on 10w60 rating. I know plenty of guys who use their 10w40 or 10w50 or 15w50 in their KTM singles.

Thanks man, I remember reading that in your report.. but for some reason I didn't put 2 and 2 together. I've run 10w60 and 10w50 in my 690... and 20w40 in a pinch. But I like to keep with the recommended. I've been told the KTM 690 is unreliable:innocent:

There starts to be some reasonably well equipped motorcycle shops in Almaty and also in Astana where you can get some major brand things and parts though probably many parts you need to order.

These are from last july as i was in Almaty preparing to Pamir Highway and my friend living in Almaty shopped some bags and stuffs from one of the shops.

You can actually see oil Colebach mentions on sale stand on corner of picture.
