Thanks a lot for the advice! I think I saw your bike in the city some dayz later.
I bought a KLR in the USA. Just ordered new tyres, later we will check and change some things and try to get the friend of a new friend : ) to weld a rack for me. Then I might attach some military bags and leave asap. Do not know if I want to ride the KLR the whole way or just to AK and back...
