I get the bit that if you fly into the US time spent in Canada or Mexico counts as US time as far as the authorities are concerned but does anyone know if Canada runs the same system? If I start my trip in Canada and visit the US do the Canadian authorities count that time or does the clock reset?

It's unlikely to affect me for the trip there I've got planned for this May but it might for some future ideas I've been kicking around.
