USA Bike Hire advice
 

Hi all. During a Canada and USA trip I'm looking to hook up with some friends mid-way and they'll be doing a one way trip San Francisco to Denver this coming summer. I've got a quote from Eagle Rider bike hire for their bikes but they're pretty pricey - does anyone have any ideas for an alternative one-way hire company? Thanks in advance.

That is your best choice I know of. Liability Insurance is not cheap.

There are a lot more options for round trips, if schedules allow. There is enough excellent riding between the coast and Denver to occupy several round trips, so available time is the only limiting factor. Well...and money, too.

For round trips, there are private rental options (for which, caveat emptor as always): https://www.riders-share.com, https://www.twistedroad.com, probably others. These will generally include insurance and can be substantially cheaper, but bikes range widely in quality and reliability.
