I know someone who got an Alaskan speeding ticket ... was waiting for them when they returned to Australia ... so I think you'll find a letter at home.

I also got a letter sent all the way frm OZ to sunny Malaysia for doing 160kmh in NSW! Since they were sending reminders to me every month & the fine was increasing, I decided to pay.
(just in-case I want to go to down under again someday)
After conversion I had to pay RM550 (Ringgit Malaysia) Not cheap!!!:thumbdown:

No, Europe isn't yet part of the US - even if Mr. Bush seems to believe that all NATO countries should salute upon his orders ;-)

Coming back to Rick - personally I consider it safer to pay the fines, because the computers in the US have a very long memory. Every now and then there are reports in the newspapers of people being arrested upon entering the US and turned back again for some offense during their last visit to the States.

Rick, Thats why I paid my OZ ticket, just to be on the safe side, Singapore does the same! As for my own country Im not sure.

The US refuses to give me Tourist visa :thumbdown:
