No experience but...

I've never shipped a car or camper from Europe to Canada (I suppose flying motorbikes doesn't count!) but on a trip up the Alaska highway and up to Inuvik this past summer I saw at least half a dozen European camper vans. So it must be do-able!

You're registration will be fine here but you will need to purchase insurance locally. Have fun!

Camper shipping

There is no problem shipping bikes or Campers from Europe to USA/Canada. The best way to ship a Camper is by Ro-Ro container ships. I shipped my Camper this year from Germany to Canada with www.ACLcargo.com.Check out their web page.Another company in Duesseldorf /Germany is very good,www.sea-bridge.de. Let me know if you need any other info.
Cheers Andy

Dear me, a Belgian asking this question. Wallinius Wilhelmson Ro-Ro or however it is spelt, Zeebrugge-Halifax 3 times a month. As to Canadian insurance, forget about it, get a nice US guy to let you use his Zip code and use Progessive on line. As to the new guy complaining about campers, ignore him, hopefully he will learn that this web site welcomes everyone. Ride/drive safe.

joking?

If you look further down the forum page, you will find various threads for pushbikes and 4 wheelers.
The site has expanded to accomodate the ever expanding methods of travel that someone may wish to use.
Maybe you could expand your rather blinkered vision?

:D

The best or most affordable option is probably "RORO" on board a ship. You can use a container to ship it too, but I believe it's slightly more expensive, though worthwhile if you have other things to ship too. Shouldn't be an issue driving it either place, but you'll need insurance locally as someone else pointed out.

I've shipped internationally between the U.S. & Europe before and used this company https://www.a1autotransport.com/ for what it's worth. It's been a couple years, but I had no complaints. Hope this helps.

Sorry, did not catch the date so probably wasn't very helpful.
