Other than riding the Dalton and Dempster Highways Im not aware of any other way, you cannot ride it in Summer - far too much wetlands and lots of rivers to cross - and I have not seen any boat service from Prudhoe bay or one from Inuvik.

FYI, you won't be able to ride to Prudhoe Bay - Deadhorse, which is a few miles south of Prudhoe Bay, is the most northerly point that the public is allowed access to. Take a look at Google Maps - you will be able to find Deadhorse airport, and that's as far north as you will be able to go. Everything beyond Deadhorse is off-limits to the public.

As for transport between Deadhorse / Prudhoe Bay and Inuvik, I doubt very much if there is any form of scheduled public transport of any kind (air or marine).

Inuvik to Deadhorse

Take the Dempster Highway up to Inuvik from Dawson City, Yukon. On your return to Dawson City, continue to the Top of the World Highway. This will take you to Chicken, Alaska and then onto the Alaska Highway at Tetlin. Take the Alaska Highway to Fairbanks and then head for the Dalton Highway.

The Dalton will take you up to Deadhorse.

The Dalton and the Dempster are challenging rides and you should be well prepared. You should be able to do repairs to your machine and prepared to spend the night in the wild.

But you will be rewarded with an amazing experience.
