Motorcycle tire shop in La Paz Mexico
 

I am currently on the road and in Loreto BCS Mexico. Tomorrow I am heading south to La Paz and Cabo. And see that I will need to replace my rear tire. I was hoping to get one here in Loreto but was told the nearest place will be in La Paz. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a tire place there where I can replace my 15" for a Harley Touring bike. Today is Friday April 15th hopefully I'll find a place that is open tomorrow morning there. More importantly find a shop that will carry this size of tire.

No real Moto tire shops in La Paz, but several decent bikes shops, some of which often have a few tires. No idea if anyone will have a HD 15" rear. But just call around or visit the 3 or 4 shops there ... see what you can come up with.

They may be able to order a tire from Mazatlan via Ferry and get it to you in a few days. Or ... have someone walk a new tire across the Border in Tijuana, put it on a Bus and send it to you. YES ... buses do cargo. But you would need someone to buy it in USA, then put it on the bus to you. Know anyone is San Diego?
BTW, many riders have done this before.

Local shop in La Paz even be able to source tire from D.F. ... will take a while but they are getting better at this. Won't be cheap ... and why I carry a spare with me on the bike!

If you can make it to the Ferry ... (about a mile away) then you may have a better chance of a tire in Mazatlan ... and they for sure can order a tire to fit your bike from D.F. if one not available locally. But LOTS of HD's in Mazatlan.
