Heidenau K60 Scout in Alaska / Canada
 

we are two Dutch bikers, riding two BMW R100GSes across the Americas. Within the next couple of days we'll be heading out to Alaska from Edmonton, Canada. And by the looks of it we'll need some new tires (two front and one rear) by the time we are in Anchorage or Fairbanks.
We need the following sizes, 90/90-21 for the front and 130/80-17 on the rear.

Does anybody know where to get these tires for a reasonable price (including mounting on the rims, we'll take the wheels out ourselves)? Other cities are also an option..

Looking up BMW Motoraad is a good way to search . Look there.
Another option is for you to contact Heidenau export div. and ask who the importers are - from there who the distributors are right down to who the retailers are.

We know about the normal Heidenau dealers. But they either stopped selling the tires or they are in back order. We were just wondering if there is some shop (other than a dealer) or just a person with a set laying around. Right now we just wait in Edmonton, as it seems to be our best bet.
