Launch a Facebook Adventure Riders Page for Chicago area.

Reaching out to gather as many folks as possible between this forum and ADV, and create a group page on FB, which is far easier to access on a smart phone, all real time, for communicating issues/needs on the go, posting photos, questions and problems, and daily banter, links and all things adventure motorcycles related.

Some background on myself, I actually am in the business, sales at MCC Villa Park, KTM/Ducati/Triumph/Husqy/MV Agusta. I ride with Carey from Countryside BMW, a few other folks on various makes. The more, the merrier...:funmeteryes:

I'm a ex Chicagoan compatriot in Ann Arbor. There's a HU listed under Ann Arbor that I started a while back. I too would like to get a Midwest hub going.

Wisconsin here and I'd also love a Midwest forum. I'm new to the boards and im in the planning stages of my first RTW, so having like minded people to talk to would be cool.

Short 4 - 5 day ride near Chicago
 

Hi,

I am flying into Chicago for work, and plan to rent a bike, so I can ride for 4 to 5 days, Chicago back to Chicago. I am looking for ideas for a good route. I will try to get a Tiger 800 or similar so back roads are preferred and I don't mind doing a bit of distance, as long as its good riding.

About me - I usually ride every day when I can, and when I am in home Australia. I have ridden on most continents and in most traffic conditions. I'm presently working for Red Cross over in Bangladesh and don't do much riding here so I am hanging out for a ride!
