Australian buying a bike in Canada
 

I am an Australian considering buying a bike in BC Canada to do a tour of Canada and USA.
After the trip the bike will go into storage for subsequent trips in LA.

Can anyone please tell me what the requirements for registration and insurance etc are for a non national buying a bike in Canada and then crossing into the states?

Wondering if you ended up doing this? I am an Australian thinking of doing the same thing and wondering how you got on. In particular for insurance and providing an address?
