I would like to visit Alaska next year either hiring a bike or joining a tour. Can anyone recommend good bike hire and tour companies and the best places to visit?

I'm sure there's more rental places in Anchorage perhaps. We met loads of people on hired KLR 650's while up there.

talk to phil at akrider.com...... akrider tours are the best.. i have used them twice now, with nothing but total satisfaction..... they will show you all the best places for everything alaskan and the bikes are perfection.... have a wonderful trip.... if you end up on homer spit, you must sample the salty dog beers, but dont expect to be sane the next day !
