Tunisia safety and guide requirement
 

After a ten year gap I'm planning to return to Tunisia with my 11 yr old and retrace my steps down to ksar Ghilane. In 2009 safety was no issue and guides not required when on and off pistes south of Douz cutting across to the ksar. Is that still the case or is independant motorcycle travel not as easy anymore? Any advise appreciated!

You can visit Tunisia without a guide but it's highly recommended, let me know if you need one. have a good trip.
