Tenere without a guide?
 

Would it be possible to enter the tenere from the South i.e. from Nguigmi to Bilma - Fachi -Agadez by motorbikes without hiring a guide with a car/2 cars? Organizing fuel at Bilma/Dirkou should be possible but would the officials let us go for Bilma without a guide and a car?

you should have no problem getting out of bilma en route to fachi and agadez without a guide. we just did this route, with two landcruisers and no guide, last month. the police in bilma didn't even ask us if we had a guide.

get your fuel in dirkou. there are a couple of different options there to buy.
