I went to Douz last year on a TTR-250 but it turned out to be too light (not for the sand though) in fuel capacity and sub-frame resistance. I got myself a DR-650-SP46 and will be going again this October 2025.
So if anybody is willing to join we could meet up in Douz and eventually share a support vehicle (water and fuel) for the longer loops.
Some ideas :
"Classical" : Day 1 : DOUZ-TEMBAINE-LAC ERRECHED 150 km sandy piste
Day 2 :"LAKE" ERRECHED-KSAR GHILANE 105 km of sand
Sand only : KSAR GHILANE - TEMBAINE - EL FAOUAR 160 km of sand
Long one KSAR GHILANE - ERRECHED - SIF ES SOUANE - EL FAOUAR 310 km of sand. Substantial fuel autonomy or support véhicule.
