Niger Algeria route
 

Hi there,

Is it feasible to go through Niger and Algeria to reach the mediterranean? Or still not possible for safety reason and you'd recommend the Niger Mali Senegal Mauritania Morocco longer way?

Not really feasible.
You can get to Agadez easy, but there the problems start. You could get on a convoy to Arlit, expect to pay. Or better, try to sneak out north in the night on your own or with a guide, hoping noone sees you. Try to make it through the desert all the way to Assamaka. That's where you sign out from Niger, and if your Algerian visa is valid, why wouldn't they let you out? In Guezzam on the Algerian side is then not far away, about one hour, but how/if you would get there is anybody's guess. If a tourist showed up in In Guezzam with an Algerian visa they would be very surprised, and probably have you shipped straight to Tamanrasset, no way they would let you go on your own.
Risk assessment: mechanical failure or fuel shortage could be lethal. If anybody sees you, be it gendarmes, military, smugglers, bandits, gold diggers or even the average Joe, it could only mean trouble.
Noone in his right mind would recommend you to try this route. If you try, however, you would have an interesting story to tell afterwards.
