I'm having jabs because I'll go to remote regions and be in contact with bedouins' animals and sleep rough in the wild. Not your typical Linzi.visit.

Dont miss the High Atlas some great little villages up there with some real friendly folk. We were out that way last March mixed temps from desert via mountains to the coast. It gets pretty windy on the coast.:mchappy:

Hi Stuart. I have run out of money to do my planned trip which definitely included the Atlas. I am now going to two particular schools to get them the books etc that I got for them. Then I must save the pennies to return. But isn't it incredible how out of touch some people can be who write guidance notes! I must say my main worry is how the bus drivers drive through the mountain passes. Gulp! Linzi.

I am in Essouira at the mo, and the weather is pretty bad. The winds are strong even by Essouira standards, and it has been raining today. It took me almost 7 hours to do the 100ish k from Isafi. Even on a proper bike it would be pretty hard going. Nice and warm though!
