Morocco driving loop
 

I am planning a trip to morocco in the fall and was looking for some route suggestions leaving from Tanger and returning, I have three weeks to travel. I will be using a Diesel Unimog. I have the Sahara overland book and am looking for some GPS routes to help.
Also is there anyone planning anything around then?

The first point of call is the new Sahara overland book by Chris Scott.m Pleanty of challenging routes for you. We did the Teniher to Nekbo route this new year. Its very rough and narrow see the pics on the attached link.

Places to see I would suggest a Tangier -Beni Mellar - Cascades DoUoduz - ,Marrakesk, Quarrazatte,piste from Teniher to Nekbo - Mezouga piste to Zagora, Agdz, Trarandout and ot to the coast and ESSOURIA RABAT AND AZIHILA. Only dome oit on a bike but should be good in your UNIMOG.

Also try 'Piste du Maroc' volumes 1 to 5 by Gandini. All in French but packed with loads of routes all with GPS etc. Also various routes out there on the web and you could of course explore your own...
