Mori trip
 

Hello,

Would you like to join me on a 4 week trip through the Mauritanian Sahara?

I am hoping to leave the UK early February with a fully prepared LR. We will take 10 days to drive through Fr, Sp and Maroc and will then spend 4 weeks exploring the Mauritanian desert. We will not be rally driving but taking time to be in and experience the desert. I am planning on the following route: Nouadhibou-(train)-Choum-Atar-Ouadane-Ghallaouiya-El Beyyed-Atar-Tidjikja-Tichit-Nema-Nouakchott-Nouadhibou. I will then be returning to Marrakech in Morocco for late March (In salah :,).

We will be 4 or 5 people in a LR Defender 110. We will do mostly wild camping and cooking for ourselves and will share all costs so it will be a cheap trip. Anyone who wants to travel onward to Mali or Senegal could be left close to the border.
