Don't forget that it tends not to be so humid in Maroc.. I was comfortable riding in 35C ish wearing a wicking tee-shirt under a Belstaff Adventurer ballistic nylon jacket. Admittedly I had the vents open, but recall sweating like a porker at 25C here in the UK ...

Well we.ve been here for a week now and after saying I was going mesh on the morning we left I changed my mind.
Textile jacket has been pretty good;hot in Merzouga at 40° but what would not be. The heat as mentioned has been dry so I am happy with my choice; my mate has a mesh jacket and has been fine too so I think in the end you just adapt and alter your system to the weather. My hardest learned lessons so far: 1 Do not forget the Michelin map is 1:1000000 2 Riding muddy pistes in the hail at night is not much fun.... but it was an adventure! Cheers all |
