It is always a question of how much wind there has been.

Deflating tyres is not an option but a necessity for safe travel.
A fit person can re-inflate truck tyres with a hand pump. Once, that was all anyone had.
There is plenty of petrol at Choum, cheap, smuggled from Algeria.
The best advice is: don't be in a hurry. Haste makes waste.
Plenty of food and water halfway and three quarters to Choum.

Have an adventure. When you are to old to do this anymore, you will be glad you did.
