Latest 4wheel updates from the Mauri-Mali border needed please
 

We're looking to drive over this border in mid July, not an ideal time but we don't have a choice, so that argument is closed.

However, we are hopeful for some information as it's not always clear who is on a bike and who is driving something with 4+ wheels on some of the posts.

We will be looking for the quickest, safest route south but with a few constraints. We've got a Peugeot Boxer 1.9 TD from 1996 but with relatively few kilometres on the clock & it will be moderately loaded. So as a 2WD minibus what would be our best route please, getting through bad pistes is one thing, security is obviously another but we do know the region well.

Keen to hear of any updates, we are in touch with many people on the ground but not around the border area.
