Is L2 Ghadamesh-Sardeles open?
 

Hi,
I have heard that L2 from Ghadamesh to Sardeles via In Azar is closed. Something with going close and through Algirian border?
I was hopping to get to Ghat via this way within 3 days, but I was told I will have to go via L1 to Idri... and drive through Germa (which was supossed to be my return journey.
Anybody drove with a guide in last two months?

I have not driven it recently but have heard that it is still open although it does not go from Hassi Mislane (KM 345) through Algeria to the Tree (KM365) and back into Libya - but keeps east in Libya through more dunes. Dont have any waypoints for this

I was told that by somebody biking there last November. But it seems to depend on the guide...
