infos travel to Dakar

I'm planning to drive to Dakar (dec.06). Does anybody have infos about the condition of the road along the coast, and if it's possible to cross the west sahara easily? Thanks

Hi,

all the Atlantic Road is now paved apart some hundreds meters. It means that you can start in Ceuta and head Dakar on asphalt all the way, what seems to be, as you call it, easy.
