Hassi M Hotel
 

Is anyhone aware of a good, secure hotel in Hassi Messaoud, or is it the usual Scrote Palace?

The only correct hotel is "Hotel petrolier" in center town.Easy to find,not cheap but clean and there is a safe car/motorbike park.Only avoid the restaurant wich is really bad..(maybe not for brits http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif..)
If you have mechanical troubles in HM go to DIAMAL garage (isuzu dealer)near the main circle:friendly,good skill,modern tools and almost every toyota spare parts available (I did a full toy gear box rebuilt there in april 2002)
