Good mechanic in Koblenz/Frankfurt area?
 

Hi:

I just bought an HJ61 in Koblenz, Germany - my wife and I are driving it in November/December thru Tunisia, Libya and Niger. I am looking for a good, reliable, trustworthy mechanic to work on it right now to prepare it for the trip. *Can someone recommend a good one in the Koblenz/Rhens/Frankfurt area?

I assume that you are talking about a car. Behind the bike shop you see on this site: http://www.rathgeber-motorradsport.de is a car workshop. The guy who owns it has been in Africa as a mechanic for a German development aid organisation. I'm sure he'll see you right.

I suggest you ring the bike shop first (I don't remember the guys name or that of his company) and explain that you want to get in touch with the shop next door. Say HI from me to both of them, we all know each other.
