from Tunesien to Kenia
 

hi there, we are looking for one or two persons, who are interested to join a trip with their own 4wheel to Kenya in autumn 2005. Right now we are two people, driving from Germany Frankfurt to Kenya. A second car and a one two more people would make this trip a lot more interesting and safer. My dad and I have spent a lot of time in Kenya organising a development project and therefore have a great number of experiences in Kenya with the 4wheel, culture…. Yet we have not crossed Africa and lack on Information of some countries we have to cross. If the political situation do not change we want to leave Europe in Sicilian and take the ship to Tunis (Tunesia) or Tripolis (Libyen). Along the coast to Ajdabiya and parallel to the Egypt border to Bir bu Zarraigh and Al Awaynat. Most likely we will cross to border to Sudan in Karabatum. Passing Dongola, we want to drive along the Nile to Khartoum and finally enter Athiopien and later Kenya. If this plans works out we will see a great deal of the Sahara but leave out the Dafur area. It would be much appreciated if anyone has further information about crossing those borders or has more information about the countries we plan to pass. Also we would we be very thankful to find one or two persons who would like to join us on the trip with their own car.
