Convoys in Algeria
 

Does anybody know what time the convoy leaves going south from Hassi Messaoud, or what time the northbound one leaves? Or are the departure times too "fluid" to predict...

Are there any other convoys to plan for in Algeria?

There were no convoys operating south from Hassi M in December 2001.

In January 2002 convoys were running from In Ecker to In Salah (and In Salah to In Ecker) on the main trans-Saharan. We managed to drive alone on the In Ecker to In Salah strech though (after 10 minutes of 'sorry no speeka french' at the garrison near In Ecker. Others travelling south from In Salah at this time had to stick with the convoy which had been delayed for 3 days by the mother of all sand storms.

Hi,
no convoy from Hassi Messaoud to Hassi bel Gebbour and back in October 2002.
No convoy from Tam up north in Mai 2002. The Road from In Ekker up north was closed from 18:00-06:00.
Convoy from El Golea(EL Menia) south to In Salah in Mai 2002.
