Camel Trips to Chigaga/Morocco
 

Hi There,
Travelling to Morocco in late September and was looking for some info on the desert around Chigaga. Hope to organise a camel (!) trip out there and would love to hear from anyone who has been there. Any info on costs, duration, possible pitfalls and tips on equipment and reliable, and not so reliable, guides would be gratefully appreciated.

Hola, I have done a 5-day camel trek out of M'hamid ... we went for 5 days at 300dirhams per day, all inclusive ... we arranged it via the Sahara hotel in M'hamid ... it was a great experience ... I thoroughly recommend going for at least 3 days, because you get to see so much ... and walk as much as you can, otherwise you will get a really, really sore bum. You don't need to pre-book anything ... we didn't ... believe me, there are plenty of camels and guides around once you get there.
