Auberge des Nomades, Nouakchott
 

Anyone able to tell me if Auberge des Nomades is still open? Trying to find it on google maps too without much success ... it wasn't that far from the market.

Just needing to know if it's open, not a phone number/e-mail address but if someone has been there recently! Unless you're in situ, anyone can say anything on the phone or via e-mail ... I never book ahead!

I've since found it on google maps, it's listed as Auberge Comping Nomades (not Camping!!!)

Used it several times before, it's a great little place & hope it's not changed too much or closed (my worst fear)!

Now that I have found the place on google maps I will endeavour to ask my Mauri work colleagues if they can check, but would appreciate info on this forum!

Not far from the market true, the last time I checked some years ago it seemed very run down if not closed. Lately I use Menata again, not far too, new management, nice place
